While visiting Whitstable, UK - the town of oysters - I was taken aback by how each oyster shell had unique contours, shading and shapes.
After sketching and exploring these shapes, I saw it as a unique opportunity to try aquatint and spit bite. I also explored various colours and chine-collé to range in prints that had natural colours, compared to more pigmented prints.
